States Take Trump to Court Over Offshore Wind Cancelations

The Trump administration’s war on wind is heading back to court. New York’s attorney general sued the administration Tuesday over one of its deals to end an offshore wind project.

Under the deal announced in March, French company TotalEnergies is receiving nearly $1 billion to walk away from two US offshore wind leases off the coasts of New York and North Carolina.
